Author Guidelines
Papers submitted for Journal of Comprehensive Islamic Studies (JOCIS) must conform to the following guidelines:
- Manuscripts should discuss the topics in the fields of Islamic Thought and Philosophy, Islamic Economic Thought, Islamic Legal Thought, Islamic Education Thought, Islamic Political Thought, Islamic Sociology, and Islamic Psychology.
- Manuscripts can be presented in Indonesian or English.
- Papers must be typed in 1,15 spaces on A4-paper size, using Charter BT font size 11 pt.
- The length of the manuscript ranges from 6000 to 8000 words.
- All submission must include a 100-200 words abstract and 5 keywords.
- Author's full name must be mentioned along with institutional affiliation and email address.
- All submission should be in Open Office, Microsoft Word, RTF, or Word Perfect document file format.
- Arabic words should be transliterated according to Keputusan Bersama Menteri Agama dan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia, No. 158 Tahun 1987 dan Nomor 0543 b/U/1987.
- References cited are preferred to the latest journal articles and books published in the last 10 years.
- All citations should be written in the form of footnote following Chicago Manual Style. It is highly recommended for the author to use Zotero or Mendeley Reference Manager.
- The layout of the text in the manuscript must match the JOCIS journal template which you can download on this journal site.
